M Travel (trading as China For Agents) operates mtravelcn.com as an inbound destination management company based in Shanghai, China. For data protection purposes, M Travel is the controller of the personal data described here.

M Travel is currently a trading name; company registration is in progress. This notice will be updated with our registered entity name, registration number, and filed address once that completes.

When you send an enquiry or RFQ. Your name, company, email address, source market or nationality, and whatever you write in the brief — plus travel dates and party size on booking enquiries. We ask for no more than we need to quote.

Technical data that comes with the request. Your IP address, recorded with the enquiry for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

Analytics, only if you accept. Pages viewed, tours opened, and whether an enquiry was submitted. Off until you press Accept on the cookie bar.

Passport and visa details. Only when a confirmed booking requires them, and only ever by direct arrangement — never through this website.

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver services you book — that is performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before one.

To keep the site usable and the enquiry form free of spam and abuse, and to understand which pages and tours are actually useful — our legitimate interest in running the business, balanced against your privacy.

To place analytics cookies — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches these processors only:

• Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
• Resend — delivery of enquiry emails to our partner desk and the confirmation back to you.
• Cloudflare — the human check on the enquiry form, which distinguishes people from bots.
• Google Analytics — usage measurement, only with your consent.
• Suppliers delivering your booking — guides, hotels, transport, and visa authorities, and only what each one needs to perform their part.

Delivering travel in China necessarily means your data is processed in China, and our processors above operate internationally. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking — 24 months, because trade buying cycles run long and an agent who asks this season often books the next.
• Contracts, bookings, and accounting records — 10 years, as Chinese accounting record rules require.
• Passport and visa details — deleted once the service is delivered, and within 3 months at the outside.
• Analytics data — 14 months.

The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them. Declining costs you nothing — every page, the enquiry form, and all contact channels work exactly the same.

We run no advertising and request no advertising permissions. Change your mind at any time: Cookie settings.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting what we did beforehand.

Email rachel@mtravelcn.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

We update this notice when what we do changes — in particular once company registration completes. The date at the top always shows the current version.
